Once upon a time
I couldn't pay rent
I thought
"Hey f%&k it! I'll live in a tent!"
Bought beer, rope,and tarps
with the the rest of my change,
And built me a hut, in the woods,
in the rain.
I fashioned a couch from a car seat
I'd found
and hung a net hamock to keep my food off the ground.
A black and white battery operated TV, a gas burner to cook, and a flashlight to see.
Now it seems funny, I can look back and laugh
Cause I wasn't just hobo,
I was Hobo First Class!
